Mardook - ShadeDismal Quest

Since I had already killed Mardook in my Heroes Tomb and Green Shirt Tomb video, I didn't bother getting another video of killing him. This time when I killed him, I had the quest to kill Mardook, Seal of Mardook. This is a level 40 quest which you get from Forrester. Once you accept the quest, you have 2 hours to go to Heroes Tomb, kill Mardook, and return to Forrester. Of course, if you fail or give up the quest, you can try again. As with the Will of Zhang quest, you get a piece of equipment as part of your reward. This time you get a helmet instead of gauntlets. There is a choice between a helmet focused on the five elements, and a helmet focused on more physical aspects. The picture below is a picture of the helmet I chose, the physical helmet.

Zhang - Ch'in Mausoleum General Fight

After I saw the Zhang chase that guy around the map, I was yearning to get to the quest to kill him. I finally got the quest and found Zhang roaming around the beaches far north of Fishing Village. When I saw a bunch of people grouped around the area where Zhang was I knew that they were planning on killing him. Here is the result of the ensuing battle.

I was a little disappointed by the drops, but immensely happy about the reward for the quest. I could easily tell that the people who fought Zhang had done it like this before due to their excellent coordination with each other. As always, an Elf Priest is essential this boss battle, as it is with almost all boss battles. Below is information about the gauntlets (wrist bracers) that I received for completing the quest.

Territory War on January 23

I was all ready to go to this war, unfortunately, however, fatigue got the better of me, and I overslept (the war was at 6:15 A.M. Central Time). We were defending The Great Wall against PandaCrew. We were unsuccessful in our defense and lost the territory. While the territory map changes every week, one guild is really letting themselves be known. WarLord controls 12 of the 34 territories, 6 of which are unoccupied by any guild. So, do the math and they control a little more than one-third of the map. They show no signs of backing down, and some people even predict that they will eventually control the whole map. As of now, only the biggest, and most dedicated guilds in the game are still holding on to a substantial part of the map. Because of this trend, territory war videos may become less frequent.

Gouf - StyxTauren Chief

I recieved the cultivation quest to kill Gouf - StyxTauren Chief and I went to the location where it said he would be, but he wasn't there! After half a day of searching and two days of trying to get a party I finally killed Gouf.

To see the equipment I wore during the fight click here. With a good Elf Priest, the Werefox in the party can be about level 45 instead of having to be around level 50. If you are unfortunate enough not to find a Werefox for your party, then a level 60 Werebeast could take the place of the pet. With a good Elf Preist, of course.

Territory War for The Great Wall

On Saturday, Febuary 16, 8:09 P.M. (6:09 A.M. - Central Time), we had another territory war. This time, the war was for control over The Great Wall, and we fought Ch3m1c4l for it. We were on offense for the first time ever in a guild versus guild territory war. My party members were Sethia (Vice Guild Matser), Willtcong, Yavanna, sakurA, and elffy.

After the war we all celebrated by teleporting to our newly captured territory. Another position I took up while serving as a lookout at gate eight, was on top of the towers that were gaurding the gate. That position provided a little bit more distance to my view. If you would like to know exactly what the the territory war battlefield looks like, and what is on the battlefield, click here to get complete information from the official website.

Haunted Grotto

I have reached level 39, and with that level comes the Iron Blood Tablets to the Haunted Grotto. This video is my very first trip through the Haunted Grotto, so I didn't know anything about what was inside. I had about four or five quests when I went into the grotto and complete all but one in one trip. I'd like to thank guildmates Elliot and GooFyBoy for their help with this video.

I had around 2800 health at full health, so the explosions from the deaths of the monsters took out about 1200-1400 health per explosion. When you encounter Farren Serenity, do not forget about his area of effect attack, and tell anybody who won't be able to handle it to stay far away. Also, I recieved information, after the video was completed, that Sparky Igneous does not explode when he is killed. If you would like to know exactly what the bosses in Haunted Grotto can drop, use the mob locator that I have a link to in one of my earlier posts. The grotto can be difficult to manuver through and find the boss your looking for, so I have provided a map with the locations of the bosses labeled.

Heroes Tomb and Green Shirt Tomb

This is simply a run though of Heroes Tomb and Green Shirt Tomb. Heroes Tomb, unlike Green Shirt Tomb, is not an instanced area, although it may appear to be. The only reason for speeding up this video was to fit it in the 10 minute time limit for most YouTube videos. Sorex, Rosiland, Muha, and Necross all helped to make this video possible.

It was a mistake when I said that the average party level should be 45. I meant that it should be about 35. If you notice, Muha was actually killed right before entering the final room, which shows that, even to a high level person, this dungeon can still be dangerous. Anyone below level 30 should try to avoid even entering the final room to not take the risk of being targeted and killed by the monster's area of effect spells. The boss's bodyguards are the only non-elite enemy's in the dungeon, but they still pack a punch. When I first went thorugh this for my level 29 cultivation, I did stay clear of the final room and let the high level people take out the boss.

Zang - Ch'in Mausoleum General Chase

After killing some monsters for a quest, I return to Fishing Village and find nearly everyone dead and a fiery beast is rampaging through the town. I was lucky enough to have my video recorder ready, and I captured this exciting footage. I, actually, almost decided not to follow this chase, because I was too bust trying to complete quests and level up.

I'm not exactly sure why the boss seemed to lose intrest in the Elf Priest when it did, but now I believe that the Elf lost his wings because he was out of mana. Judging by the amount of damage the Elf took with each attack, I would have to say he was probably somewhere around level 60. I will most definetly put up a video of a fight with this boss when I am a high enough level or get a good party to fight him with. After I recorded this I spent a lot of time around Fishing Village, and this boss actually arrived a few more times, but was never dragged as long as this one.
